In an era where the government consistently fails to protect us, Everyone needs an AR-15 in their home!

by Jeremy Griffith

Milo Yiannopoulos of Brietbart Media, a gay activist and conservative reporter posted recently a photo of himself with a designer hand bag and an AK-47. He says, “Saddle Up Homos. If the government won’t protect us, it’s time to defend ourselves!” or something to that effect. It’s funny, but in light of the Orlando shooting, also very tragic.

Milo is right when he says that the government has failed in its primary function of protecting its people. 49 gay partygoers dead and 53 wounded in a horrific attack at a night club where the attacker was working as a security guard and where he obtained legally the semi-automatic weapons he used to kill. To add insult to injury, the guy, Omar Mateen, was twice questioned by the FBI, but nothing happened.

It is in this atmosphere that I’ve come to the conclusion, I’ve actually arrived at it long ago, that the government is unable or unwilling to protect us against violent extremist. Barack Obama even goes so far as to refuse to call it what it is. Instead of the continued norm of allowing the government to do that job, badly, it is time now for the individual to try to come up with a plan to protect themselves.

Gays have been dying in Iraq and in the Middle East for months as Isis throws them off buildings and post videos of it on You Tube. Nobody batted an eye. Now the Orlando tragedy. Are we now going to wake up?

The president says that more gun control legislation is needed. What is needed is a focus on violent extremists. Whatever Mr. Obama. You are irrelevant. Go into retirement already.

In light of this more recent tragedy, I offer a proposal. If you are gay or straight, man or woman, or transgender, doesn’t matter. If you have never picked up a weapon before and don’t know the first thing about self defense firearms, I will train you. Meet me at the range and I will let you shoot an AR-15  for the first time. I will allow you to shoot one of my handguns or we can rent one to use. I know a couple of places where we can go. If you want to learn how to defend yourself, I will give you your first lesson for free!

My fiance shoots all the time. We enjoy doing it together. She is a slight Asian female. She likes to shoot my Smith and Wesson M&P 15 because of the accuracy and light recoil. We’ve shot Appleseed events together here in Minnesota. It’ s a good time.

I’ve determined that I’m going to carry my weapon more and more, where appropriate. It’s obvious that the gun grabbers are going to continue to try to curtail our constitutional rights. They don’t speak for us. This is exactly the scenario that our founding fathers drafted the second amendment for. They foresaw a weak government unable to defend us all the time, so the onus was on the individual. The technology has changed, the principle has not. Everyone should get their carry conceal license as soon as possible, and beyond that they should train in real world situations.

I’ve been watching a nice You Tube series of training videos out there that train people on various gun related self defense scenarios. It’s called FP.D, First Person Defender. Various gun manufacturers and ammo producers put it on. They have several seasons of short video where they take role players through real world defense situations and train them to respond. You can view the first season here.

I recommend watching FP.D to anyone interested in getting more training on personal fire arm protection. The instructors are vary competent and know their stuff. They will train you at the level you are at. Furthermore, I recommend anyone go find a carry conceal training program in your area. Many of them will rent a firearm to you. I suggest you visit the range before hand and familiarize yourself with a particular weapon before you go. The laws may vary in your state.

There is not a day goes by I don’t think about my personal protection. I remember in Iraq I went to a movie theater in Balad. Everyone in the theater was a soldier and everyone had a weapon, perhaps two. I carried my pistol and a rifle into the theater. I remember sitting down in the theater and a machine gunner was attempting to find a seat behind me with his big bulky M240 machine gun. He accidently bashed me on the back of the head with the but t stock of his weapon. He apologized profusely.

I was in a theater this last week with my fiance. There is not a time I don’t go to a public setting like that and wonder, what if? The Aurora theater shooting hit close to home because I have relatives in the Denver area. What happens I wonder if I go into a theater and someone crazy walked in with guns and started blazing away. I’d be a sitting duck.

Ever since Iraq, I feel naked without a firearm.

I see a lot of people walking around without a clue as to what is happening around them. You people who have your heads up your, uh, phones, need to pay attention and scan your sector. Learn the difference between level white, level orange, and level red. Google it if you have to!

Gun control isn’t the answer. Preparedness is. Time for everyone to take personal responsibility for their own self protection. There aren’t enough cops out there to prevent all crime.

Pray for the victims of the Orlando Club shooting, as well as their families.

And for the Muslims who renounced this horrible attack, thank you. Your compassion has not gone unnoticed.

Gun Control Advocates are in a frenzy to get control of your guns, using the tragedy of Sandy Hook and others to do it. It’s unlawful and unconstitutional to separate law abiding gun owners from their weapons!

The American Millennium is launching a campaign to stave off this gun grab, for as long as possible. In the age of soundbites, visuals are all we have to get the message to the viewer, short and sweat. The low information voter just doesn’t have the time to do the research. That’s why I’m creating informational graphics like the ones above to provide a tool to educate people about this issue.

It is important to remember that in US History, the government has victimized citizens and disarmed them, people like the Native American Tribes who were kicked off their own land and then forced onto reservations; to the African Americans who were kidnapped from their homes and forced into slavery on this continent. Others like Japanese Americans were victimized in World War Two and forced to live in communal camps. The common thread is that the government was allowed to do this because they were first allowed to disarm the populace, removing any chance that citizens would defend themselves against this illegal suspension of their constitutional rights.

Sandy Hook is a tragedy. But it’s not guns that are to blame. Gun free zones only create victimhood. Firearms in the hands of responsible citizens can curb the violence and save lives.

Join us in this campaign to educate the low information voter. Share these graphics when you see them and do your own homework.

Thank you.

Minnesotans Gather to Hear New Proposed Gun Law Debate Testimony

by Jeremy Griffith
American Millennium Online

Supporters and detractors of new gun control legislation showed up in great numbers Tuesday for the first of three days of hearings on the topic at the State Office Building in St. Paul, Minnesota, opposite the capitol.

The hearings began at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, with testimony scheduled throughout the day, Wednesday and Thursday. The halls were packed with supporters on both sides of the issue. The auditorium was overcrowded, making it necessary to open three more rooms to the public, where those gathered watched the testimony on TV. Those who could not fit in the viewing rooms or the auditorium gathered in the halls and debated with one another, or were swarmed by local media.

The hearings are being conducted by the House Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee. The committee consists of 11 DFL House Members and Seven Republicans. The committee chairman is DFL Rep. Michael Paymar.

Rep. Tony Cornish-R, who is the Republican Lead for the committee, commented on the nature of the hearings when we reached out to him on information about these hearings.

“I don’t plan on giving an inch in the upcoming battle to take away our constitutional rights.” -Rep. Tony Cornish-R

In his reply e-mail, Cornish wrote,” Dear Friend, I am a life member of the NRA and sponsor or co-sponsor of every major gun rights bill in the last 10 years.”

“I don’t plan on giving an inch in the upcoming battle to take away our constitutional rights. I believe this is a huge smoke screen coming up where the anti-gun people will throw everything but the kitchen sink at us in the way of gun control bills and then try to give a fake compromise solution to then go after the alleged “gun show” loophole, which really takes away our right to sell or trade guns privately to friends or family members without background checks and registration…

“We need to fight against this and you can bet I will. Stay strong and come to the hearings, Feb 5th, 6th, and 7th at 10 am in the State Office Building in St. Paul.”

Two prominent political groups had members gathered in St. Paul to the view the hearings: the Minnesota Gun Owners Civil Rights Alliance; and the ProtectMN.Org supporters.

Obama’s Gun Control Vision a Recipe for Disaster

Obama’s Gun Control Strategy a Recipe for Disaster

Reasons why millions should oppose the comprehensive gun control measures and associated executive orders pursued by the President.

Storified by Jeremy Griffith· Wed, Jan 16 2013 20:06:00

The  President’s comprehensive strategy of legislation and executive orders to ban or control guns is a recipe for disaster that does nothing to cut down violent crime, but actually encourages it, and leaves Americans in danger not only from criminals, but by out of control local, state and federal government agencies.

Mr. Obama wants to ban certain types of guns, namely those that have more than one military feature, ban magazines with a capacity over ten rounds, universal background checks for all gun buyers including private sales, and requirements for doctors to report on the mental status of their patients and the presence of guns in their homes. All of these items do nothing to curb violence in this country but will serve only to increase it as millions of Americans are deprived of their weapons of choice and their fundamental rights to self defense, will violate their confidentiality rights with their individual physicians, and limit peoples’ freedom everywhere.
Obama’s 23 Executive Orders On Gun Control Are Mostly FluffPresident Obama signed 23 executive orders on gun control, sending directives to many Federal agencies. Some of these orders are good ste…
In fact, all of this President’s public actions have been to limit the freedom of Americans while it increases his own safety and comfort. For example, the congress has passed legislation signed into law by this President that ensures this and all former living presidents will have guaranteed Secret Service protection for life.

Does everyone not see the hypocrisy here? Obama wants armed guards around him 24/7 year round, armed with not semi, but fully automatic weapons, but will deny you and me access to semi-auto versions of these weapons for the purpose of our own self defense. This alone should be reason enough to oppose this president and what he is doing!

With these executive orders and with future planned gun control legislation he will make every law abiding gun owner an enemy of the state and the target of every law enforcement agency at every level. He decided this was best without regard to the third order of effects of what it would mean at the local level. For example, if gun laws like what the President favors are enacted by congress, what will be the result? Will county sheriff’s and city police be required to confiscate such guns when they find them? Will they be ordered to do round ups of guns, going door to door to find them and take them from previously law abiding citizens? Will drones fly over head to monitor the homes of registered gun owners?
And what will be the reaction of those millions of legal gun owners when the sheriffs and officers come for their guns? Will they be arrested, or will they resist? What will be the fallout of such confiscation?
In the American Revolution and in the Civil War, thousands suffered death and serious injury when the simple musket was the only weapon available. Imagine the tragedy of that time as thousands of young men fought and died in those horrible wars right here on our own soil?

So much damage was done by a simple ball and powder weapon. Now fast forward to the present where many millions in this country own multiple round capacity semi-auto handguns and rifles. What sheriff in his right mind would want to approach a home and ask the home owner to turn over his guns? It would be one in love with suicide! Why would the president put so many law enforcement officials and private citizens at risk like this? Is he stupid? Is there an agenda?

Fortunately many sheriff’s are already coming out against confiscation legislation and for good reason.

A man who allows his friends to die cannot be called upon to defend his enemies. It is obvious to me that he has made himself the enemy of millions of law abiding Americans. Don’t tell yourself it can’t happen here, after all, gun confiscation is a part of American history, both in the near and distant past. The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, my three favorite things, tried to seize guns from a remote rancher in Ruby Ridge Idaho, a former Green Beret and a quite man. The ATF also attacked the communal home of the Branch Davidians in Waco Texas. The siege there caused the death of 80 people, many of them innocent children. While the religious practices of this group might be considered strange, to date they had been hurting no one. It was never proven in court that they did anything wrong. It was alleged that they had illegal guns and gun parts, but who is to say now, after the horrendous fire burned all the evidence? The charismatic leader David Koresh seemed a bit odd, and indeed may have been guilty of a crime, but he never had his day in court. How can we expect fair treatment from a government who views us all as Bible thumping bitter clingers?

Radio host and media personality Glenn Beck posted a brilliant and sanguine analysis of the gun control debate this week on his network The Blaze. He said we should all act like Gandhi, Jesus Christ, and Martin Luther King, Jr. choosing peaceful activism over confrontational violence. It is well that we should fear such a confrontation as it could shatter the nation. Glenn Beck is right, but what happens when the visit at your door isn’t a polite knock, but an armed assault like the ones that happened in Ruby Ridge and Waco? Must we engage in violent action then in order to defend our lives? I fear that this government will give us no choice, and that is a tragedy.

We agree with Beck that we should all let cooler heads prevail in the debate coming about gun control in light of the horrible tragedy in Newtown CT and in gun related violence elsewhere. The issues of gun accessibility and mental health are important, but we should not rush into legislation that is proven to have no affect on the problem. It should be remembered that in states that have shall issue gun permitting laws, gun violence is drastically down, while in states like Illinois and New York, gun violence is skyrocketing.

In the end, the fate of our country rests with us. We are all torn by the tragedies of gun violence, but is that an excuse to exclude certain types of firearms from public consumption? Hold your representatives to account and demand that they protect the Second Amendment rights to keep and bear arms. Citizens robbed of their gun rights suffered horrible tragedies in this century and centuries past and we should learn from their example: from the Native Americans, to the blacks bonded in slavery, those denied the right to bear arms suffered as no other under the brutality of their own government.  The history of gun control is a history of genocide.

Innocents Betrayed – A Documentary detailing the history of gun control and genocide! -Warning Graphic

Here is a very important documentary produced by the Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership. In the wake of the mass school shooting tragedy in Newtown CT, this is an important video that puts the whole issue of gun control into true perspective. While the slaughter of children and their teachers at their school, a place of supposed safety, is a monumental and heartrending tragedy, it is important to reflect that in the 20th Century, more innocents have been killed by their governments than by rogue madmen.

The American Millennium Online abhors violence, especially that committed against children. But we also hate the tyrannical governments throughout the ages that have slaughtered their own people for whatever reason because they thought they were “undesirables”. Posting this video will probably get you banned from Facebook, Twitter and other social media. It goes against the leftist agenda of gun control.

We appreciate what film director Aaron Zelmon says at the end of this video, that an armed society is a polite society. He’s right. You only have to look at American History to see the victimization of Native Americans and Black Americans at the hands of angry whites with guns. So it is wrong headed to think it can’t happen here. It already has.

We believe that there is a God-given right for the private citizen to make provision for themselves for self defense. In that ideal, we support the private citizen to own semi-automatic weapons with large capacity magazines. It should be noted that the armed citizen must still face the armored tank operated by their government. It still isn’t a fair fight, but a citizen armed with a rock or club is just a bad joke.

Creative consultant and attorney Richard W. Stevens sites Federalist Papers 29 and 46 in the end of his interview as opinions preferred by our founders as to why our citizens should be armed as a right. None imagined the kind of genocide possible in the 20th Century with modern weapons. If they had, I believe the Founders would have been even more pro-gun than they were, if that is at all possible.

I believe this short film should be distributed far and wide over the Internet as a way of informing people about the dangers of gun control. I believe this was the intent of the film makers. I would encourage everyone who view this film to also go to the website and buy the DVD, as a thank you for the people who went through the time and expense to produce it.

Some might object to citing a Jewish source for information of this type. There is still a lot hatred and animosity for the Jews and the Jewish state of Israel even today. That’s OK. No one on Earth understands genocide better than the Jewish people, having been the victim of it for so many years, and we appreciate their viewpoint.
